Advancing concrete initiatives
Each year, Nordic Compass will identify concrete initiatives for action within each of our thematic tracks.
The purpose of the Nordic Compass Summit is to assemble stakeholders to jointly advance these initiatives towards implementation.
The inaugural Nordic Compass Summit 2026 in Gothenburg will gather approx. 150 selected leaders from industry, governments, and beyond.
The Summit is organised in close collaboration with the City of Gothenburg, Business Region Göteborg, and Göteborg & Co.
Summit attendance
As the Nordic Compass Summit is designed as a focused working forum, the main program is by invitation only. However, selected segments and side events may be open to the public.

Why?
Gothenburg

Klara Hammerth/Mediabank Göteborg & Co
Gothenburg was selected as the host city for Nordic Compass because it combines many of the capabilities needed to strengthen Nordic competitiveness and resilience: industrial excellence, technological innovation, and a strong culture of collaboration.
As one of the Nordics’ leading industrial and logistics hubs, home to the region’s largest port and some of Europe’s strongest research and innovation ecosystems, Gothenburg provides a natural setting for discussions on competitiveness, resilience, and industrial transformation.
The city brings together world-class companies, universities, investors, and public institutions, making it a living example of the cross-sector collaboration that Nordic Compass seeks to advance.
